Cemented in a Foundation of Operational Excellence
Three Strategic Pillars
We strive to move toward our Vision for 2030 and achieve our Purpose with Three Strategic Pillars:
Growth & Inclusion
The Membership Experience
World Class Programming
We refer to these as Pillars because collectively they ensure the CEO Council’s growth, relevancy and sustainability into the future. Accordingly, these Pillars are cemented in a Foundation of Operational Excellence.
PILLAR ONE
Growth and Inclusion
Our Vision
- The CEO Council as an organization whose members have a level of business stature which allows them to share a high level of knowledge and experience with their fellow members.
- An organization comprised of CEOs who share a commitment to personal continuous learning, sharing their knowledge and experiences, leadership, and the long term growth of their organizations. These individuals share an appreciation of social responsibility and the role it plays in the success of their organizations
- Steady growth in membership; the size of the organization is balanced with the organization’s ability to foster the rich relationships that exist among members.
- We envision the CEO Council whose membership reflects Tampa Bay’s ethnically and gender diverse business community. Our membership is also representative of diverse professions, industries, and sectors thus ensuring an array of broad perspectives, ideas, and solutions to the issues that members share. Regional market leaders of national and/or global companies or organizations are considered for membership.
- Membership is a blend of younger entrepreneurial individuals representative of Tampa’s growth industries and Tampa’s older more traditional business leaders.
PILLAR TWO
The Membership Experience
Our Vision
- We envision the CEO Council as an organization whose members, by sharing their knowledge and experiences and learning together organically build social relationships. This sharing and these relationships serve as the core of the CEO Council’s Membership Experience.
- Members who are able to articulate the measureable impact their CEO Council membership.
- An inclusive organization where all perspectives are welcome. There is a particular focus on making perspective and new members feel welcome.
- An organization where members find it easy to engage. Technology supports members’ connectivity, learning, and sharing. Membership fees are affordable and reflect the value and learning members gain. Attendance requirements are flexible, and strong relationships give a member a reason to want to participate with their fellow members. Regional market leaders of national and/or global companies or organizations are considered for membership.
PILLAR THREE
World Class Programming
Our Vision
- An organization whose members are consistently exposed to world class thought leaders and practical ideas and solutions for leading their organizations.
- An organization capable of listening to members’ changing needs and expectations and able to quickly design and introduce new programs and services responsive to those needs.
